    If you are feeling under the weather and may have had a Covid exposure, please let us know and we will be happy to reschedule your meet-up or lesson - either to a virtual meeting at the scheduled time or to another day once you are in the clear.

    0-10 miles - FREE

    10-50 miles - $45 Flat Fee

    50-100 miles - $150 Flat Fee

    Please note: In order to be available to service my whole client base, travel outside of the 10-mile radius is only available for walks, care, and training sessions that are 1.5+ hours.

  • We know your time is valuable, and ours is too. Out of respect for our staff and our other clients, please respect the following policies.

    Cancellations by the Pet Owner. Home Care Cancellations by Pet Owner. A full refund (less date-hold deposit) is available if the booking is canceled more than two weeks before the Stay (refers to vacation care, boarding, and house-sitting services).

    If the booking is canceled within two weeks before the scheduled stay, 50% is refunded. Deposits are not eligible for a refund but may be eligible for rescheduling depending on circumstances.

    Walks, Weekly Care, and Training Cancellations By Pet Owner. All cancellations of the above services must be made at least 72 hours before the service in order to receive a refund. Same-day cancellations of walks, care, and/or training are not eligible for a refund. and will be treated as kept appointments in terms of bookkeeping.

    Cancellations by the Service Provider. If the Service Provider cancels an appointment prior to or during the service period identified in the Booking, we will refund the fees paid by the Pet Owner for Pet Care Services not provided. If an agreement is reached with the Pet Owner, you can reschedule or appoint a substitute Service Provider who has agreed in writing to accept a Booking and has provided their contact information to the Pet Owner.

    Force Majeure. The cancellation policies described herein may not apply in the event of certain emergency situations beyond the control of Service Providers that make it impossible or impractical to perform agreed Bookings, such as evacuations resulting from earthquakes, hurricanes, wildfires, floods, war, riots, or any other event beyond the reasonable control of the Service Provider. In such cases, Gifts From Dog may, in its reasonable discretion, issue refunds under terms that vary from a Service Provider’s selected cancellation policy.

  • A 15% deposit is required to secure your reservation for House-Sitting services. The deposit will be collected at the time of booking.

    Reservations that include major holidays require a non-refundable 50% deposit to secure your reservation.

  • Payments for walking, training, and weekly at-home care services are due the Sunday before the week of service.

    Payments for house-sitting, boarding, and vacation care are due 2 weeks prior to the date of stay.

    Payments for services can be rendered through Venmo, CashApp, Zelle, cash, or check. Please let me know which service you would prefer at the time of your booking.
